1. Introduction and Scope

These Terms and Conditions (also referred to as the Terms of Service, T&Cs or the Service Terms) set out the contractual relationship between you and the provider for the supply of services in the United Kingdom. By making a booking you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Terms apply to all bookings, quotations and work carried out. The purpose of this document is to describe the booking process, payments, cancellations, liability, and waste regulations along with governing law and other standard conditions that form part of the service agreement.

2. Definitions

In these Terms of Service, the words "we", "us" and "our" refer to the service provider and "you" refers to the customer who requests or books services. Service refers to the specific work, removal, installation or consultation agreed in writing. A Booking refers to a confirmed appointment or order for services. These T&Cs and related contract terms form the entire agreement between the parties concerning the service engagement.

3. Booking Process

The booking process begins when you submit a request or accept a quotation. Bookings are confirmed only when we provide a confirmation reference or written acceptance. The booking process includes the following steps:

  • Enquiry: You request a service or obtain a quote.
  • Quotation: We provide a written estimate or proposal (scope, price and timescale).
  • Acceptance: You accept the quotation and any required deposit or payment is made.
  • Confirmation: We issue confirmation with appointment details and any preparation instructions.
It is your responsibility to ensure information supplied at booking is accurate. Any material changes to scope may require re-quotation and revised delivery dates. Please note that verbal enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking until confirmed in writing or via an issued reference.

4. Payments and Prices

Prices shown in quotations or invoices are exclusive of VAT where applicable and are based on information available at the time of estimate. We reserve the right to adjust fees if the scope changes. Payment terms will be specified on the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in cleared funds prior to completion or within the period stated on the invoice. We may require a deposit to secure a booking.

Accepted payment methods will be stated at the time of booking. If payment is not received by the due date we may suspend or cancel services. For recurring or staged services, invoices will be issued at agreed milestones. Any costs incurred in recovering late payments, including administration charges and reasonable debt recovery costs, may be charged to you.

5. Deposit, Estimates and Variations

A deposit may be required to secure an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable where cancellation terms apply (see below) or where work has commenced. Estimates are provided in good faith; if unforeseen circumstances arise (for example additional labour, materials or access issues), we will notify you and seek approval for any variation before proceeding. Variations accepted by you will be charged accordingly and may affect scheduled completion dates.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking in accordance with these T&Cs. Cancelling or rescheduling without sufficient notice may attract charges. The following principles apply:

  • Cancellation by you: If you cancel within the notice period specified on confirmation, a full refund of prepaid sums less any non-recoverable costs will be issued. If you cancel after commencement or with inadequate notice, we may retain the deposit and charge for work already performed.
  • Rescheduling: Reasonable requests to reschedule will be accommodated where possible but may incur administrative charges or changes to pricing depending on availability.
  • Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to cancel or postpone for logistical reasons, safety concerns or unforeseen events. If we cancel, we will offer an alternative date or refund any prepaid amounts for the cancelled appointment.

7. Liability and Limitations

We carry out services with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for direct loss arising from negligence or breach of contract is limited to the value of the contract or a sum equal to the fees paid for the relevant services. We shall not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

7.1 Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the work site and for disclosing any relevant information such as hazardous materials, restricted access, or third-party arrangements. Failure to provide accurate information or access may result in delays, additional charges, or refusal to complete the work. You must ensure that relevant permissions, consents or authorisations are in place before the scheduled work begins.

7.2 Insurance and Indemnity

We maintain appropriate insurance for our operations. Where we reasonably incur liabilities due to your failure to comply with these Terms, you will indemnify and hold us harmless against such claims. Nothing in these T&Cs shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

8. Waste Regulations and Disposal

As part of the service agreement, waste handling and disposal will be carried out in accordance with applicable environmental and waste regulations. We will remove and dispose of waste generated by the service unless the quotation specifies otherwise. Disposal includes transportation to authorised facilities and payment of the relevant disposal fees. Where you choose to retain waste or arrange alternative disposal, it remains your responsibility to comply with legal requirements.

Hazardous and special waste: Materials classified as hazardous, special or controlled (including asbestos, certain chemicals, or regulated electronics) must be identified to us prior to booking. If such materials are discovered and were not previously disclosed we may suspend work and issue a revised quotation covering safe removal and legal disposal. If such disposal is required by law to be undertaken by a licensed specialist, you must permit reasonable access for that specialist and pay any related costs.

9. Environmental Compliance

We aim to follow best practice for recycling and minimising environmental impact. Where possible and cost-effective, materials will be recycled. Records of waste consignment and lawful disposal will be maintained on request. You warrant that any materials provided to us for reuse, recycling or installation are legally sourced and free from restrictions that would impede compliance with environmental law.

10. Force Majeure and Delays

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, pandemics, transport disruption, or utility failures). Where a force majeure event occurs, the affected party must notify the other and take reasonable steps to mitigate the effects. Timetables may be amended and additional costs arising from prolonged force majeure may be charged.

11. Data and Privacy Any personal information collected to process bookings will be used in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Personal data will be held only for the purposes of performing the contract, billing and regulatory compliance. By entering into a booking you consent to the processing of your information as necessary to deliver the service. We will not share personal data with third parties except where necessary to perform the service or to comply with legal obligations.

12. Amendments and Severability

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will not apply to confirmed bookings unless mutually agreed. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue to have full force and effect. No waiver of any provision constitutes a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract for material breach where the breach is not remedied within a reasonable period following written notice. On termination you will pay for all work completed and costs reasonably incurred up to the date of termination. Termination will not affect accrued rights or liabilities. Where work has been performed and goods supplied, title to any unpaid goods may be retained until full payment is received.

14. Disputes and Governing Law

These T&Cs and the service contract are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and, where relevant, the specific jurisdiction within the UK as applicable to the location of the service. Parties agree where possible to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal steps. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking interim relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. General Provisions These Terms, together with any written quotation or confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter. No person other than a party to the contract has any rights to enforce any of its terms. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. By proceeding with a booking you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (also referred to as the Terms of Use or Service Terms).
